Organization Description

"It is the mission of the Alameda County Water District to provide a reliable supply of high quality water at a reasonable price to our customers." We are modifying our current mission statement through an update to our strategic plan. ACWD's purpose is to provide safe drinking water to the cities of Fremont, Newark, and Union City that meet or exceeds established regulatory compliance guidelines.

  • RISK: Building, Repair, Community Clean up - Risk includes but not limited to: sun exposure, cuts, bruises, chemical exposure such as paint, tools and machinery, etc.
  • RISK: Event Set-up - Risk includes but not limited to: Lifting, cuts, bruises, etc.
  • RISK: Students will be asked to drive (in addition to travel to and from site) for this placement.
