Organization Description
CityServe empowers communities through essential services, comprehensive care coordination, and relational support that meet immediate needs and strengthen long term stability. Guided by our vision, Caring for neighbors. Coordinating support. Connecting community. We serve individuals and families of all ages experiencing low to no income and provide seniors with prevention programs, classes, and support groups. As a trusted Tri Valley resource hub, CityServe brings the human element to human services, collaborating with more than 250 community partners and providing multilingual support in Spanish, Farsi, and Mandarin.

- Must be 18 or older
- HIGH RISK: Students will be working with "behaviorally challenged" populations
- HIGH RISK: Students will be working with individuals who have a known criminal background or history of violent behavior
- RISK: Event Set-up - Risk includes but not limited to: Lifting, cuts, bruises, etc.
- RISK: Serving and Preparation - risk includes but not limited to handling kitchen items, cuts, burns, lifting, etc.
- RISK: Students will be asked to drive (in addition to travel to and from site) for this placement.
- SITE REQUIREMENT: Students will be asked to sign a confidentiality waiver.
