Ace Hospice Social Work
Organization Description
Our mission and purpose is to assist patients that are diagnosed with a terminal illness to control their symptoms, provide pain management, assist them and their families with community resources to improve their quality of life and outcomes. We are a multi-disciplinary team consisting of nurses, social workers, chaplains, aides, medical director, and supportive staff. We assist with end of life planning, funeral planning and arrangements, and provide bereavement support after death.

- Must be 18 or older
- HIGH RISK: Service is one-on-one, family/home based. If yes, please indicate under Special Site Instructions where meetings will take place: public location, on campus, etc.).
- RISK: Students will be asked to drive (in addition to travel to and from site) for this placement.
