Envisioning a future that uses art to cultivate a healthy vibrant community. Our mission is to build art pathways that empower the residents to ignite the stories of our community. Fully activating them to advocate the needs of youth and family. To achieve this we employ the following strategies. Develop “arts-based” career and education pathways and networks for youth and professional artists. Placing value on community stories while shifting our narrative into one that is reflective of its residents. Cultivating partnerships that aid in strengthening and uplifting community voices.

We specialize in building and sustaining critical cosmic consciousness by providing comprehensive and holistic educative tools, resources, and training programs that inspire and empower a deeper appreciation for one’s sense of self, community, and environmental care. Established in 2014, ASCENDtials seeks to impact BIPOC communities through programs that encourage BIPOC participants to act as signifiers of change in settings that are not inclusive towards BIPOC people. The true intent is to bring about self-awareness and create good and humane technologies while sustaining constant collaboration with community businesses and leaders.

California Department of Parks and Recreation manages 280 park units, which contain the finest and most diverse collection of natural, cultural, and recreational resources to be found within California. California State Parks contains the largest and most diverse natural and cultural heritage holdings of any state agency in the nation. State park units include underwater preserves, reserves, and parks; redwood, rhododendron, and wildlife reserves; state beaches, recreation areas, wilderness areas, and reservoirs; state historic parks, historic homes, Spanish era adobe buildings, including museums, visitor centers, cultural reserves, and preserves; as well as lighthouses, ghost towns, waterslides, conference centers, and off-highway vehicle parks. These parks protect and preserve an unparalleled collection of culturally and environmentally sensitive structures and habitats, threatened plant and animal species, ancient Native American sites, historic structures and artifacts . . . the best of California's natural and cultural history.

Responsible for almost one-third of California's scenic coastline, the California State Park system includes 280 parks, beaches, trails, wildlife areas, open spaces, off-highway vehicle areas, and historic sites.  It consists of approximately 1.59 million acres, including over 339 miles of coastline, 974 miles of lake, reservoir and river frontage, approximately 15,000 campsites and alternative camping facilities, and 4,456 miles of non-motorized trails.

Alisal Union School District operates eleven K-6 schools and partners with one Charter School in the most rapidly growing section of Salinas. In addition to our regular classroom teachers, our schools have certificated resource staff consisting of Bilingual Resource Teachers, Migrant Resource Teachers, Literacy Specialists, Instructional Coaches and Resource Specialists. Speech Therapists, Psychologists, School Nurses and Certified Nurses Assistants are also employed to provide additional resources to classroom teachers.

The Alisal Union School District currently serves about 7,700 students. Our multi-ethnic student population is distributed as follows:

All K-12 school districts require TB testing and some form of background checking (Livescan fingerprinting; Meagan’s List check; etc.). The level of clearance required depends on degree of supervision.

Our aim at Bay Physical Therapy is to provide each patient with personalized treatment sessions tailored towards their individualized goals to allow them to return to their prior level of function. We treat a variety of conditions and value the use of movement during your treatment sessions to get you back to doing the things you love.

The Monterey County Office of Education (MCOE) is a vital component of our K-12 education. We serve as a critical link between our county's schools and both state and federal governments, and we provide indispensable and cost-effective services to local schools and districts.

Bay View Academy has opportunity for two MSW interns, working with our K-4 grade students and working with our 5-8 grade students.
