Organization Description Hope Services' mission is to improve the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities, as measured by eight indicators: personal development, self-determination, interpersonal relations, social inclusion, rights, emotional well-being, physical well-being, and material well-being.
Our long term vision is to help develop society's acceptance of people with disabilities through initiatives. We also hope to promote a common understanding that the world is a better place when people with disabilities are fully integrated and accepted in all aspects of our culture.
HOPE Services is the leading provider of services to people with developmental disabilities in Silicon Valley. We serve more than 3,500 people and their families in six counties and provide a broad spectrum of service for infants through seniors such as children's services, day programs, staffing mental health services, community living services, and senior services.

Interns would be assisting clients with the use of video equipment, editing, practicing interviewing skills, and researching activities and events clients would like to attend, or projects they would like to take on that are media related.
Accepting Interns: who can commit and develop activities for clients in our day program. Activities such as (but not limited to) Age appropriate Art, Cooking, Yoga, low impact exercise, community involvement and participation. Overall, we would like activities that engage our clients in both physical and mental stimulation. For our young professionals this will help create the opportunity to interface with under served population, connecting with community services, advocacy, community collaboration, common purpose and the chance to educate people both with and without special needs with healthy eating and with healthy eating lifestyles and community membership.
