Organization Description

The Salinas Valley Tourism and Visitor Bureau's mission is to "lead community efforts in creating economic development through the promotion of tourism for the tri-county region of Monterey, Santa Cruz and San Benito counties as well as surrounding areas".

We operate the California Welcome Center which also serves as a Regional Heritage Center in the historic heart of old Salinas, next to the train depot and other historic properties that include the First Mayor's House & the Railroad Museum.
