Community Partner Mission Statement:

Apaga Projects targets the adventure traveler into the rural and authentic Caucuses to give a unbeatable local experience to stay in cottages, participate in extreme activities like zip lining, via ferrata and mountain climbing while eating traditional and delicios foods and taking a wondrous nature break.

Interact with clients who have developmental disabilities, and assist staff in various activities such as academics, art, sports, exercise, and so much more.

This organization provides care for individuals struggling with mental health disorders. I would intern as a behavioral health technician facilitating groups and learning about mental health disorders as well as substance abuse disorders. The mission of Arise is to value and learn trust, compassion, and empowerment. I would be working hands on with clients and provide services that help those struggling mentally before re entering the real world.

Pasadena's Armory Center for the Arts is a leader for contemporary art exhibitions and community-based arts education. APCF was founded in 1990 by AAPI community leaders in response to the need for alternative funding for Los Angeles-based nonprofit organizations serving AAPI communities. To raise funds for community organizations serving AAPI communities, APCF initiated employee giving campaigns at various workplaces. In the past decade, APCF has diversified its fundraising efforts by developing other avenues for giving and has provide capacity building support to numerous API nonprofits in Southern California.
