The YMCA of San Diego County (YMCA) is a non-profit dedicated to improving the quality of human life and to helping all people realize their fullest potential as children of God through the development of the spirit, mind and body. The Joli Ann Leichtag Elementary Youth Orchestra is under the umbrella of the PTA. The orchestra's mission is to provide high-quality, free musical instruction to all interested students. We seek to enrich the lives of students and their families by helping them discover and develop their musical talents and to build their self-esteem as part of a quality musical ensemble by fostering an inclusive, nurturing, and positive environment.

JPS Engineering Corporation, is an engineering solutions and services provider for the commercial, industrial, and governmental environments. Our mission is to provide our clients with exceptional and innovative engineering solutions from product design, development, and delivery. Our core competencies are in electrical hardware and software systems integration for encrypted wireless communications, analog and digital electronics designs, fiber optics and laser controls, computers, reverse engineering, and fabrication. We have several products we manufacture on-site, and off-site, and would like to have an engineering student participate in the production process.

JusticeCorps members/interns will be trained to provide legal information to self represented litigants to assist them with resolving important legal matters. CCF provides childcare and preschool education to children from six weeks to five years old with low teacher-student ratios. The Center's research-based curriculum, Guided Discovery, is focused on play, which means that children learn through stimulating and age-appropriate games and activities. The state-of-the art facility boasts 12 spacious classrooms, three age-specific playgrounds, a full-service kitchen, a kid's kitchen, a children's garden, Internet-accessible cameras, and a private nursing room for new moms. CCF proudly holds accreditation through National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

KidWorks was founded in 1993 in an apartment on Townsend St. as a summer club to keep students off the street. We have grown to 3 learning centers in the heart of Santa Ana. Our volunteers are the life blood of KidWorks. An hour of your time each week could result in a brighter future for a child in Santa Ana.

CHAD major, Completion of PSYC 331 or PSYC 330 (Infancy and Child Development) preferred, background check and immunizations required, CPR preferred but not required.
