We provide services from a recovery based lens and approach meeting the client where they are at. Our services are intended to keep clients at the lowest level of care possible and focus on treatment within the community. Our program strives to reduce barriers that our clients face when accessing various services.

Located in the northern region of California’s Central Valley, the Turlock laboratory provides avian necropsy, histopathology, bacteriology, biotechnology, parasitology, and serology testing on site.

The UC–CSU Environmental and Climate Change Literacy Projects (ECCLPs) is an innovative partnership between the UC and CSU systems along with community-based partners (CBPs), to advance prekindergarten through 12th grade (PK–12) climate and environmental literacy, justice and action.

United Samaritans Foundation's mission is to deliver food to people in need in Stanislaus County and to facilitate the provision of services to assist them in a transition to a better quality of life. We have 5 food vehicles that deliver food that is prepared in our commercial kitchens to 11 cities every Monday - Friday at 55 designated scheduled stops.

The United Way of Stanislaus County advances the common good by focusing on efforts to create opportunities that improve the quality of life at all levels of our community.

Across California, the University of California’s Cooperative Extension offices are problem-solving centers—the bridge between local issues and the power of UC research. Our county-based staff is part of the community – we live and work in the areas we serve. We are stewards, problem-solvers, catalysts, collaborators, and educators.

As part of the agricultural community, we help farmers implement more-efficient growing methods and solve pest management problems. And UC ANR academics and staff are mobilizing to address the threat of a changing climate.

As stewards of the land, we help develop smart water-use strategies, conduct wildfire education, and help preserve natural areas and farmland.

As advocates for healthy communities, we promote nutritious eating habits and exercise for better health. Through the California 4-H Youth Development Program we engage youth to become the citizens of tomorrow.

Thousands of volunteers extend our reach through the Master Gardener, Master Food Preserver, California Naturalist, and the California 4-H Youth Development Programs.

We work in full partnership with federal, state, county, and local government agencies as well as individuals and private entities.
