Arcata School District is a K-8 district comprised of two schools, Arcata Elementary School and Sunny Brae Middle School, with a total enrollment of about 545 students.

Area 1 Agency on Aging provides leadership and services that support and promote healthy aging.

Throughout the treatment process, Axis Physical Therapy therapists provide education and guidance to patients, empowering them to actively participate in their own recovery. They may teach therapeutic exercises, advice on proper body mechanics and ergonomics, and offer strategies for preventing future injuries.

Axis Physical Therapy aims to create a compassionate and collaborative environment where patients feel supported and motivated on their journey to regain optimal physical function and improve their overall well-being.

This site is only available to undergraduate social work students with an approved employment-based proposal. 

Be Smooth, Inc. is a community-based organization in Stockton, California founded in 2018 by Lecia Harrison in honor of her son, Brandon Harrison, a 20-year-old rising leader in the movement for youth justice and a powerful advocate for education and healing. Our mission is to foster school communities where youth and families heal, grow, and create change.

Be Smooth, Inc. aims to do this by supporting the healthy well-being of community members, families and youth. Promoting education, healing, and positive youth development; coaching students on life skills and tools for positive decision-making;  supporting students and their families in successfully navigating the educational, mental health, juvenile justice and other systems that create obstacles and challenges to positive outcomes. This can be accomplished by facilitating opportunities for relationship-building between schools, families, and communities; and educating policymakers. 

At Beck’s Bakery we value relationships, nutrition & good flavor. That is why we go the extra mile to purchase locally grown grains directly from the farmer & stone mill them ourselves on our own granite grist mill. We actually know our farmers, their families, and even their dogs…we’ve walked the wheat fields with them and have helped bring in the harvest with them. We are one of only a handful of bakeries in the US that makes bread this way. It is an honorable way to craft bread and we are proud to be able to offer this unique wholesome product to our community.

By giving just 8-12 hours of your time each month to a local child, you can help realize their potential.

2. Bowl for Kids Sake: 2136 Broadway - Harbor Lanes, in Eureka

This site is only available currently to students with an approved employment-based placement proposal.
