Nation's Finest

Organization Description

Nation's Finest has been serving Veteran’s for over 50-years. Our Southgate and Mather residential programs are committed to helping veterans achieve residential stability, increase their skill levels and/or income, address mental health concerns and obtain greater self-determination. The Nation's Finest Behavioral Health Center at Southgate provides comprehensive drug and alcohol treatment services, mental health services, and dual-diagnosis services to military veterans in need.

Students will get a chance to provide direct services to Veteran’s at either our Southgate or Mather residential facilities.

Services provided include psychoeducational classes, group counseling and individual therapy. Case management, coordination of care, treatment planning and biopsychosocial assessments are a few of the many activities students may have an opportunity to observe and participate in conducting.
