Oroville City Elementary School District

Program Information

At Oroville City Elementary School District social work student interns would be able to get experience working with Educational Therapists supporting student's mental health and working with teachers. There will be an opportunity for case management for foster and homeless students. Student interns will also learn how to conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans.

Student interns placed at OCESD should be self starters, flexible, and able to cope with chaos. They must be able to ask for help and manage time well as school day and student needs can be unpredictable. Students placed at OCESD will need to be professional and be positive examples to our students in attitude, dress, speech, and behavior.
