Oakland Police Department Cadet Program
Organization Description
The primary intent of the Pathway to Public Safety (Police Cadet) Program is to assist youth in completing college degrees while learning about law enforcement. The program prepares cadets fro different types of law enforcement careers (sworn and professional), particularly within the Oakland Police Department.

Normal hours of operation for a Cadet ranges from 6:00AM-2:00PM Monday-Friday not including special assignments during the week and the weekends.
