Girls on the Run Central Coast Inc

Organization Description

Girls on the Run is a girl-empowerment organization that inspires participants to be joyful, healthy, and confident using evidence-based lessons that combine relationship building, community strengthening, and goal setting with physical movement. Our mission is to educate and prepare girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living.

Health & Safety

A handful of our teams hold evening practice from 5:30-7:00. Coaching is ALWAYS done in groups of 2-3 and the volunteers should not be in the practice location without their co-coach(s) present. This is to ensure both the safety of the our coaches and participants.

Volunteers will only meet and serve in public locations. Organization address is a private residence and is off limits to volunteers. Photography and videography are allowed as indicated on volunteer and participant registration. We gather images for marketing purposes and our end of season scrapbook. Location specifics, names, or other defining characteristics are not to be posted online.
