Office of the General Manager InternAt — Alameda County Water District.
Alameda County Water District is seeking an intern for assignment to its Office of the General Manager. The intern’s assignments will center around policy and administrative research, strategic plan implementation and refinement, interagency coordination, and legislative program development. The ideal candidate should be skilled at researching federal, state, and local regulations, with education and experience in public administration. Duties include researching a workforce development program for temporary employment of high school minors. Other duties would include programmatic and technical assistance with emergency preparedness, public affairs, and community engagement.
Please note there is a 960 hour maximum on the number of hours students can work in the internship over the three semesters. Students may not work more than 30 hrs a week.

Students will receive District on-boarding through our employment process. Job specific training will be provided by the supervisor.
