Dependency Advocacy Center (DAC) is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization providing interdisciplinary family defense legal services to indigent parents and children involved in Santa Clara County’s child welfare system. Our adult clients face the removal of their children due to concerns of abuse and neglect with a myriad of issues presented, including poverty, trauma, substance abuse, domestic violence, and mental health. DAC’s goal is to promote timely reunification and preservation of these families in a safe, healthy environment.

Development is Child’s Play is a multidisciplinary pediatric facility with highly skilled physical therapists and occupational therapists specializing in sensory integration. Our focus is to help our clients and their families succeed in meeting life’s challenges. Services are provided for individuals with sensory processing disorders, delays in development, or motor coordination difficulties that may contribute to problems in motor skills and daily living tasks including eating, playing, sleeping, dressing, toileting, behavioral and emotional responses, and speech / communication, learning, or social interactions.

At Diets and Life, our goal is to love and enjoy whole foods, broaden our palettes, and teach the life skill of cooking resulting in a healthy lifestyle. Diets and Life empower kids with knowledge of wholesome foods and nutrition by exploring, cooking and learning like skills, having fun. Food Explorers Club is a part of Diets and Life that provides after-school culinary nutrition education to children ages 7 and above.

Digital Mountain, Inc. is a leading provider of electronic discovery, digital forensics, cybersecurity, and data analytics services. Customers include marquee law firms, corporations and government organizations on a global basis.

We are a student led and ran non-profit organization that is committed to creating awareness of digital safety and the digital wellness of students and educators. Our daily work is focused on youth digital empowerment, and to prevent cyberbullying or other types of online abuse, through education and the promotion of student leadership.

Discovery Counseling Center 501c3 non-profit in Morgan Hill Ca. We have approximately 20 grad students working in schools (k-12), and 20 Associates seeing clients in the center and in the schools. Discovery has contracts with Morgan Hill Unified for all schools, Gilroy Unified for all schools, and with Gavilan Community College.

Students at this internship will work on public health projects to enhance Downtown Napa Farmers Market's goals of health equity, food access, diversity, inclusion and public health practices at the market.

Our mission is to enhance the learning environment by providing healthy and safe food options, timely service, and positive adult/student interaction.

Interns will be developing educational content and resources for various target populations related to the mission focus areas, including but not limited to resources for educators, children, public policy makers, and the general public;

EAH Housing is an affordable housing organization. The mission of EAH housing is to expand the range of opportunities for all by developing, managing, and promoting quality affordable housing and diverse communities. Resource Coordinators work closely with seniors, children, and adults that live on site to provide resources that can assist their daily lives.

We have service learning opportunities for volunteers to assist seniors with computer literacy, tablet, and smart phone assistance. Hosting social events such as BINGO and board games. Assisting seniors by connecting them with community resources.

Interns will focus on building their reference and instruction skills, but will also have an opportunity to work on additional projects in areas of their choice such as library displays, instructional videos, and collection development.
