San Francisco State University School of Nursing We foster student growth and development, embracing their richly diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds, recognizing the individual differences in learning styles and goals, and adapting support systems to help students fulfill their educational goals. Building on a foundation of knowledge from nursing and other disciplines such as psychology, sociology, philosophy, and anthropology, graduates of this program will collaborate with other healthcare disciplines (i.e., medicine, physical therapy, psychology, social work, and others) to provide compassionate and ethical care along the health-illness continuum throughout the lifespan. These educational endeavors affect the healthcare environment and positively influence the health outcomes of individuals, families, communities, and populations. We are committed to the professional development of faculty, staff, and students using our conceptual model, which guides our academic activities. We provide excellent nursing education and academic activities emphasizing patient-centered care, patient safety, teamwork and collaboration, evidence-based practice, quality improvement, informatics, leadership, and lifelong learning for the students as well as faculty and staff.

SAfG serves girls in K through 6th grades. Our mission is to remove systemic barriers to all girls’ participation in STEM starting in kindergarten by introducing, sparking and building their interest through hands-on learning. Our programs increase their positive attitudes toward STEM and equip them with 21st century skills. In schools throughout the East Bay, SAfG provides hands-on, high quality after-school STEM programming while girls are young so they’ll stay engaged in STEM for the long term.

Shimmick has a long history of completing complex water projects, ranging from the worlds largest wastewater recycling facility in California to the record-setting Hoover Dam. Our commitment extends to water treatment, water conveyance, water storage, flood protection, environmental projects and more.

The SART/DV program is dedicated to providing trauma-informed, survivor-centered medical and forensic services for individuals impacted by sexual assault and domestic violence. The program prioritizes safety, dignity, and empowerment while promoting coordinated community responses and advancing best practices through education, advocacy, and system-level collaboration.

SWB creates positive team communities for recently arrived refugee and immigrant youth. Harnessing the power of soccer as a universal language, SWB engages newcomer, English Language Learning youth from more than 25 countries. As youth adjust to their new and often difficult circumstances, their SWB team provides an avenue for positive engagement. In a safe and supportive environment, youth build meaningful friendships, community connections and powerful mentor/mentee relationships, which play an important role in their successful integration into their new lives in the US.

We provide elite level care for professional athletes and people who are just dealing with day-to-day aches and pains. We are a health and wellness clinic that offers multiple services to best support our client population.

Stacked Adventures was created to give people the opportunity to create their own outdoors adventures at their own pace, with their own ideas of what they want to experience while doing so close to home and affordable. Our service is a hybrid of guide, gear, and concierge service catering to people who do not have the gear, skill level, and/or knowledge to do their own outdoor adventure. Our top priiority is SAFETY!!! We will not provide services if we feel the adventure you are planning is unsafe to you or the environment. We provide top quality gear, professional guides, and very experienced outdoor professionals to ensure you have the wilderness experience that is right for you.

Acute Care hospital in TriValley area. Provide medical/surgical services to all patients, both in and out. JCAHO accredited for Total Joint Program and Bariatric Program.
