The Student Equity & Success Center, Educational Opportunity Program works collaboratively with students, faculty, administrators and staff to enhance the CSUEB experience. Our programs are designed to retain and graduate low-income, first generation, historically underrepresented and underserved student populations.

Student Life and Leadership Programs provides opportunities for student learning beyond the classroom and enhances the mission of the university through the coordination and support of a variety of special programs that promote campus life, leadership and community engagement. Special programs include New Student Orientation, Parent & Family Programs, Transfer Student Programs, and the recognition, maintenance, and development of student clubs and organizations. Student Life and Leadership Programs supports and promotes lifelong leadership development, hosting a variety of student leadership conferences and workshops throughout the year and coordinates with various campus partners to host a diverse variety of campus life programs and events.

Our mission is to provide case management services to individuals who are formerly incarcerated, on the verge of becoming incarcerated or expelled from high school as a result of at-risk behavior and/or gang association/affiliation.

Diablo Valley Foundation for the Aging is a not-for-profit corporation providing community service to seniors in Contra Costa County since 1975. Founded by a group of community leaders including Dean S. Lesher, former publisher of the Contra Costa Times, and Katharine M. Grant, a social worker, the Foundation is committed to providing vital services to aging persons who are at risk because they are alone, isolated, pressed by financial problems, or are confused. The focus of our organization is to prevent inappropriate institutionalization of elders by providing the necessary support to maintain them in the community. Comprised of dedicated professionals and volunteers, we enable older adults to live with as much independence and freedom as possible.
