An independent non-profit social service organization with headquarters and five service locations along the San Pablo Avenue corridor in West Oakland, California, St. Mary’s Center answers basic needs and offers hope for more than 1,000 Seniors and 40 Preschool families every year.

SVdP accomplishes its mission of Neighbors Helping Neighbors by delivering direct assistance to those who need a helping hand. Helping neighbors meet basic needs – from providing a place to shower to receiving a warm meal – is at the heart of SVdP. Support service and job training programs are also provided as pathways out of poverty. SVdP engages with the community in many different ways: through the services it offers at its West Oakland direct service campus, its retail stores that offer gently-worn goods at very low prices, and its grass-roots Conferences that offer direct support to neighbors-in-need in parishes across Alameda County. Our direct service campus also functions as an outreach location for other agencies, like veteran service groups, the Alameda County Health Department, and homeless advocacy groups. In addition, the direct service campus is also the location of SVdP's Foot Clinic, which is offered through the generous support of the Order of Malta. SVdP works with the hope that one day all people in Alameda County will be self-sufficient or receive the support they need to live sustainably.

Mission Statement: Saving lives by empowering survivors and educating communities to stand up to domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Stand Up Placer is a non-profit community-based organization dedicated to empowering Placer County survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking to heal from the trauma and create new lives of strength and self-sufficiency. We take pride in our community, engaging and inspiring Placer County residents to end the legacy of abuse.

Stars Therapy Services mission is to provide quality early infant intervention through motivation, education and creative thinking while maintaining cultural sensitivity. We complete eligiblity assessments in partnership with local regional centers and directservices for early Interventions and ABA.
