Botanical Community Development Initiatives is a grassroots organization dedicated to nurturing connections with plants and fostering a more peaceful, equitable, and regenerative planet. Their work is deeply rooted in environmental justice and community science, focusing on land-based initiatives that empower communities, particularly those facing environmental disparities. Through key projects like The Plant Lab, The Milpa Initiative, Greening Spaces, and EquiTable Food, they aim to enhance seed sovereignty, promote climate resilience, improve community health, and ensure equitable food access.

The mission of the Boys and Girls Club of the Coastside (BGCC) is to enable all Coastside youth, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens. In 2022 we served over 900 youth and close to 4,000 Coastsiders with programs and facilities. Now to build upon 27 years of service are excited to build even more positive partnerships to support our youth on the Coast.

Support with youth programs, co-facilitation of activities, tutoring and other youth program initiatives. We also have special event and administrative support opportunities.

Our mission is to inspire youth – especially those who need us most. We help them achieve full potential in a safe, positive and engaging environment. BGCSL promotes education, health, and character development.
