Organization Description

LARPD provides parks and recreation to a population of approximately 83,000 residents. Offering 42 neighborhood parks, 12 sports field facilities, an indoor gymnasium, two aquatics centers there is a myriad of recreational activities for the community to engage in. The recreation department specifically offers a variety of sports and fitness classes/camps/leagues for ages 3-80+. We host special events for the youth such as Boo Bash, Donuts with Santa, Pee Wee Track Meet, Daddy/Daughter Dance, etc. The gymnasium is host to multiple LARPD programs as well as a rentable facility for basketball, volleyball, pickleball, birthday parties, etc.
