Founded by a Stanford alumna and developed with a Stanford math professor and a former coach of the Chinese International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) Team, Descartes Learning Club offers a premium, small-group, highly individualized math and logic enrichment program. With exceptionally low student-to-teacher ratios and a deep focus on personalized lesson planning, our expertly trained instructors tailor content and adapt instructional methods to each child’s math level, learning style, and pace. This makes DLC an ideal complement to larger daytime school math classes. Students receive exactly the support they need—whether advanced challenges or targeted reinforcement of foundational skills—in intimately sized groups of peers at similar levels, giving them the space and confidence to explore math joyfully without pressure. Rather than relying on rote drills, students build true mathematical fluency through conceptual exploration, puzzles, and hands-on challenges—making math both rigorous and joyful.
