Program Information

The Youth and Family Services Bureau (YFSB) is a unique part of the Hayward Police Department where police officers, mental health providers, and social service providers work side by side. This multidisciplinary team works together in order to provide a variety of services to meet the needs of our diverse community. Hayward YFSB was at the forefront of integrating social services into law enforcement for more than 40 years and will continue to bridge the gap between mental health and law enforcement.

  • SITE REQUIREMENT: Students are not allowed to take pictures or video.
  • SITE REQUIREMENT: Students will be asked to sign a confidentiality waiver.
