Dr. Quang Q. Phan is a gastroenterologist in Garden Grove, California, and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center and Garden Grove Hospital and Medical Center. He received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years.

Dreams for Schools programs inspire and educate students to be STEAM and Computer Science literate with the hard and soft skills needed to become the critical thinkers, creative leaders, and technologists of tomorrow. We’re technology experts empowering students and educators with hands-on learning opportunities.

Over the past eight years, DUYA has helped over 2,000 students become successful, self-sufficient, and socially responsible citizens. Each of the programs directly targets the barriers that prevent students from continuing to grow and learn. The organization, which started with in-person tutoring and homework help, has since grown to include other life-supporting programs such as career readiness and mental health counseling. Pre-COVID, DUYA was located at five public libraries in Los Angeles throughout the school year and one recreation center for Summer Camp programming.

All students, regardless of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, and sexual orientation, are open and welcome to participate.
