Delta Health Care began providing services with an emphasis on Family Planning prior to 1970 and became an incorporated not-for-profit agency in 1978. The agency is dedicated to providing health, nutrition, wellness, breastfeeding, nutrition and health education, and outreach services to underserved families, women, adolescents, children and individuals in San Joaquin County.
Since inception, Delta Health Care has provided a wide range of services to meet the needs of the community. Resources offered by Delta Health Care currently include breastfeeding support and services, the Women, Infant and Children (WIC) supplemental nutrition program, nutrition education and counseling, onsite healthy cooking demonstrations, school-based health centers, health education, community outreach, and referrals to resources offered by our community-based partners.

Developmental disabilities are a diverse group of severe chronic conditions that are due to mental and/or physical impairments. Developmental disabilities begin anytime during development up to 22 years of age, and last throughout a person’s lifetime.
