The Escondido History Center’s mission is to collect, preserve, and interpret the rich history of Escondido and the surrounding region by engaging the public through exhibits, collections, and educational programs. We house historic photographs and artifacts, with displays and exhibits across multiple buildings and our 1930s Pullman train car. Our purpose is to foster a deeper understanding of Escondido's cultural heritage and ensure that its history is preserved for future generations.

Our Vision Our long term goal is to produce a well-rounded individual athlete who is also a team player. This athlete should strive to have good common sense, work hard academically and have a burning desire to attend college. Our aim is for these wonderful human beings to become confident, strong individuals with the positive mental attitude with which to achieve their dreams.

Exposure Skate’s mission is to empower women, trans and non-binary individuals through skateboarding and teach compassion through service. Our year-round skateboarding programs include international competitions, youth and adult skate & service clinics, wellness retreats and college scholarships. In addition to teaching skateboarding to all ages and abilities, each of our programs involves participants in projects that build community and support at-risk populations. Participants in our programs support victims of abuse, homelessness and poverty through projects, drives and fundraisers designed to support those affected.

The Fallbrook Union Elementary School District serves a kindergarten through eighth grade student population at nine school sites, including two schools located on the United States Marine Corps Base at Camp Pendleton. Evidence of the quality of the educational program offered to students, all of our schools annually meet or exceed the State’s accountability markers of the Academic Performance Index. The District has also been recognized for winning the California School Board Association achievement of the Golden Bell for multiple programs.

The District’s commitment to curriculum development has resulted in an articulated instructional program with continuous input from the teaching staff. An integral part of the school system is the use of up-to-date computers, video and audio systems at all levels. Gifted and talented students, identified and challenged with special coursework, extend their learning opportunities.
