Hijos Del Sol Arts Productions

Organization Description

Hijos del Sol Arts Productions creates opportunities, inspires children, youth and builds community in the Salinas Valley. Through visual and ,multicultural art education, expieriences and mentorship. Where young people are respected and develop artistic skills, and explore and embrace their cultural identities . We are here to assist all who wish to learn a new artistic skill and all who wish to expand their art skills. We provide a complementary experimental art studio.

Health & Safety

We currently serve a higher number of minors than adults. Although we have on site instructors its is important to state that some minors are not supervised by a parent/guardian other than HDS instructors.

We have an experimental art studio which means plenty of materials/ equipment is needed. It is advised that heavier equipment may be handled by professionals although at times it may be needed to be handled by the volunteers.

Our operation hours are from 4:30 pm - 8pm if students desire to stay here throughout all the studio hours it is considered night work.
