The purpose of this organization promotes human well-being by strengthening the opportunities, resources, and capacities of people in their environments and by creating policies and services to correct conditions that limit human rights and the quality of life. The focus is around:  To enhance human well-being and alleviate poverty, oppression, and other forms of social injustice.  To enhance the social functioning and interactions of individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities by involving them in accomplishing goals, developing resources, and preventing and alleviating distress.  To formulate and implement social policies, services, and programs that meet basic human needs and support the development of human capacities.  To pursue policies, services, and resources through advocacy and social or political actions that promote social and economic justice.

Probation supports both Adults and Juveniles that are on probation or in our juvenile system. We support them while they are incarcerated and support them with resources after they are back into the community. We have adult services - they are probation officers that manage the adults. Juvenile Services- these probation officers manage the juvenile caseloads. Juvenile Facilities- is managed by our Deputy Chief, Superintendent , and the assistant. Grant writer Legislation analysis, Community Outreach Coordinator, Administration, and the Chief's offices are 9:00 - 5:00 positions. There is much to learn at the Probation department.

The Alameda County District Attorney’s Office Victim-Witness Assistance Program was the first of its kind in the state of California.

The Victim –Witness Assistance Division of the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office provides a variety of services for crime victims, witnesses, and their families as they work through the emotional trauma of their victimization.

We are aware of, and are concerned about, the problems that crime victims, witnesses and their families experience as a result of the victimization. Weeks, even months after the crime, many individuals still experience problems due to the crime. Our office is dedicated and designed to alleviate some of these issues.

Pacific Orthopaedic and Sport Rehabilitation is an innovative physical therapy facility committed to providing the highest quality physical therapy services. Our mission is to provide hands-on, one-on-one physical therapy care to our patients, utilizing a clinically-oriented team approach.
