Summer Youth Programs Internship
Description : Asian Health Services Youth Program will run various summer programs for Oakland and East Bay Youth. One will focus on connecting youth to the elder generation called Bridging Generations. Another will focus on young men. Depending on capacity, we may run our summer leadership program as well as an outdoors focused program. Programs will run 2-3 times per week. We prefer a minimum of 20 hours per week during the summer. We are flexible with start and end dates.

Our internships focus on supporting staff with youth development and leadership groups, in-class and in-community health education, and comprehensive and confidential reproductive health services. Description: Asian Health Services is proud of our dual mission to provide and advocate for quality health care access. Through our Patient Leadership Councils, community events, and contact through our clinics, our Community Liaison Unit provides outreach, education, and enrollment opportunities. If you are interested in outreach and educating AAPI communities and patients, please contact us. We prefer a longer term volunteer or internship at a minimum of 3 months, 12-16 hours per week.

Your work will help these litigants stabilize their housing and family situations, recover lost assets and prevent abuse. JusticeCorps Student-members commit to serve 8 hours a week for the fall, winter and spring quarters for a total of 300 hours. They receive an education award and have the opportunity to work closely with Lawyers and court professionals. JusticeCorps Fellows are graduates who serve in the courts full-time.
