Los Angeles Centers for Alcohol and Drug Abuse 
(L.A. CADA) is a licensed and certified substance use and behavioral treatment provider by the State of California Department of Health Care Services and the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health – Substance Abuse Prevention and Control.

We treat persons with addiction and behavioral problems by providing client-centered, trauma-informed, recovery-orientated services, offered
by a committed, caring and qualified staff of licensed, certified and registered professionals.

L.A. CADA offers critical services across a wide continuum of care and treatment, including outpatient, intensive outpatient and residential programs. This full continuum of addiction care is available for men and women, ages 18 and over. Services to adolescents, ages 12–17, in an outpatient setting are also available.

About Lincoln Federation: “Lincoln” is an organization that helps elected officials better work with LA tech companies and helps tech companies better work with their community.

Opportunity:

Lincoln hosts 6-10 events and meetings per year ranging from large community gatherings to small receptions at private homes. Each event is by invitation-only and attended by top LA tech entrepreneurs as well as politicians and thought leaders. All members of the Lincoln team are currently volunteers, however, each member is given a title, as well as access to all events and the entire Lincoln network of tech executives.   

Requirements:

Team members of the marketing department must be “A Players” with a passion for entrepreneurship and having a positive impact on the world. In this role, attitude and passion are the best skills to succeed.

Team members will be responsible for spread the message of Lincoln up to, and through, each event. This effort will take the form of:

• Social media
• Email and content marketing
• Partnership development
• Membership acquisition

Since 1972, Long Beach Rescue Mission has opened its doors to thousands of men, women and children. The Mission provides food, clothing, shelter and spiritual guidance to the homeless and less fortunate people of the community.

Long Beach Rescue Mission stands dedicated to helping individuals overcome the homeless cycle, achieve long term goals and make a world of difference in today’s society.

We also provide meals and worship services in the evenings and on Sundays to senior citizens and neighborhood families. The Mission provides loving care and spiritual guidance to help people who are homeless find purpose, direction and hope.

For Human Services Students: Assists homeless individuals; provides food, clothing, shelter & spiritual guidance. Can take up to 4 interns each semester
