CPC mission is to help moms in need during crisis situations such as unplanned pregnancy. We assist with free services including pregnancy tests, material assistance, guidance counseling, community resources, post abortive healing counseling, as well as educating the youth in the community about healthy relationships and sexual risks. We work with children, adults, and families to help find solutions and supports to alleviate struggles and support mental health needs.

Continuum Hospice provides compassionate end-of-life care that focuses on comfort, dignity, and quality of life. The mission is to support patients and their families with personalized medical, emotional, and spiritual care. A team of nurses, social workers, chaplains, aides, and trained volunteers work together to ensure individuals can spend their final stages of life with peace, respect, and comfort, while helping families cope and feel supported.

As County Supervisor, Wendy Root Askew is committed to advancing policy that promotes the ability of families – in all their forms to have their basic needs met in safe, connected communities where there is opportunity for personal fulfillment, and access to protected natural resources.  Her priorities as Supervisor include: social equity, healthcare access, high quality services, access to affordable child care, water and mass transit solutions, increased accountability and customer service for County services, housing, and recovery from the pandemic.

Behavioral Health provides mental health and substance abuse treatment for individuals and families in San Benito County. Invididual and group therapy, medication support services available.

Santa Clara County Office of the Alternate Defender (ADO) mission is to provide rigorous high quality, cost effective, and caring representation to indigent clients in cases where the Public Defender has a conflict of interest. ADO has a client-centered practice where we give voice to those whose voices have been silenced by poverty. As part of the defense team, ADO's social workers work with the most vulnerable of those served such as people with mental illness, unhoused populations, and those experiencing addiction.

Alisal Union School District operates eleven K-6 schools and partners with one Charter School in the most rapidly growing section of Salinas. In addition to our regular classroom teachers, our schools have certificated resource staff consisting of Bilingual Resource Teachers, Migrant Resource Teachers, Literacy Specialists, Instructional Coaches and Resource Specialists. Speech Therapists, Psychologists, School Nurses and Certified Nurses Assistants are also employed to provide additional resources to classroom teachers.

All K-12 school districts require TB testing and some form of background checking (Livescan fingerprinting; Meagan’s List check; etc.). The level of clearance required depends on degree of supervision.

The Crisis Response Project (CRP) is dedicated to providing intensive crisis prevention, emergency response intervention, and follow-up services as support for Regional Center of the East Bay (RCEB).
